హైదరాబాద్ నుండి కర్నూల్ వెళ్ళే మార్గం లో కృష్ణ నది తీరాన బీచ్పల్లీ గ్రామం లో వెలసిన క్షేత్రం బీచ్పల్లీఆంజనేయ స్వామి దేవాలయం .
వందల సంవత్సరాల చరిత్ర గల ఈ దేవాలయాన్ని గద్వాల్ రాజుల కాలం లో నిర్మించారని శాసనాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తుంది . ఈ ఆలయం లో ఉన్న ఆంజనేయ స్వామి విగ్రహాన్ని శ్రీ వ్యాసరాయల వారు స్థాపించారట . స్వామి వారు స్వప్నం లో కనిపించి తన దర్శాన్ని మొదట ఎవరైతే చేస్తారో వల్లే ఈ దేవాలయనికి పూజ కార్యక్రామాలు చేస్తారు అని సేలువిచ్చాడట .ఆ తదుపరి రోజు లేచి చూడగా ఒక బోయవాడు స్వామి వారి కి ప్రార్తిస్తున్నాడట . ఆ రోజు నుంచి బోయ వంశానికి చెందినవల్లె ఈ దేవాలయం లో బ్రాహ్మణులతో పాటు అర్చకత్వం చేస్తున్నారు అని స్థల పురాణం .
ఈ దేవాలయం కు సమీపం లోనే శివాలయం మరియ రామాలయం కూడా ఉన్నయి. కృష్ణమ్మా గల గల పారే ఈ క్షేత్రం చూడడానికి చాల అందంగా ఉంటుంది.గర్భాలయం లో ఉన్న 8 అడుగుల స్వామి వారి విగ్రహం తేజోవంతంగా ,ఎంతో శక్తివంతమైనది అని చెబుతారు . ఆలయం లో ఉన్న ధ్వజ స్థంబం ,ముఖ మండపం చాల రమణీయంగా ఉంటాయి.
ప్రతి 12 సంవత్సరాలు ఒక సరి జరిగే పుష్కరలప్పుడు ఇక్కడికి బక్త జనాలు చాలామంది వస్తారు .

ప్రతి సంవత్సరం హనుమాన్ జయంతి ,నృసింహ జయంతి ఉత్సవాలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహిస్తారు . ప్రతి నిత్యం ఆకూ పూజ ,పంచామృత అభిషేకం చేస్తారు .
ఈ క్షేత్రాన్ని సందర్శించి ,కృష్ణ నది లో స్నానమాచరించి స్వామి వారిని దర్శించుకుంటే సకల రోగాలు , పాపాలు హరిస్తాయని భక్తుల విస్వాశం.
Beechupally Village situated on the bank of river Krishna is in Itikyal Mandal in Mahbubnagar District of Telangana State.
The main idol belongs to 16th century. It is believed that sage kanva did penance in this area. It used to be a dense forest without inhabitants. Vyasaraya, who was Guru of Sri Krishna Devaraya, the famous king of Vijayanagara dynasty, was a great scholar. He installed many idols of Hanuman in Andhra and Karnataka. While roaming in this area along with his pupils, he installed the idol of Lord Anjaneya in this area. He installed another idol at Chintarevu, which is close to Beechupalli. The specialty of the idols installed by Vyasaraya is that they have 'Shanka' and ' Chakra' on either side. After installation, Vyasaraya was thinking about ways to make arrangements for regular Puja to the idol and slowly went to sleep. In his dream, Lord Hanuman appeared and said that whoever was the first person to worship his idol the next day should be nominated as Archaka. Next day morning, a young boy belonging to 'Boya' tribe came to the temple and worshipped God. As per Lord Hanuman's instructions, that boy w as nominated as Archaka. His name was 'Beechupalli'. From then onwards he became the Archaka and till today persons belonging to Boya Tribe are the archakas of the temple. They, along with Brahmin archaka, perform the pujas of Lord. From then onwards the place came to he known as Beechupalli and the lord as 'Beechupalli rayudu'. The Temple was built about 200 years back, by Gadwal kings. A Siva temple was also built in the premises, during the same period. This area has lot historical importance. It was ruled by various dynasties like Maurya, Shatavahana, Ikshvaku, Badami Chalukya, Rashtrakuta, Kalyani Chalukya, Kakatiya, Vijaynagar and Asaf Jahi.
Hunuman temple about 200 meters away from the river and a Shiva lingam temple near the river. During the rainy season, the water flow becomes high enough to touch the Shiva lingam temple. Lord rama temple was also built in the area. For the convenience of devotees, a number of ghats were built for Push Kara snanam. A pushkara bath that takes place every 12 years. it is one of the most important places for pushkara snanam . Number of people were visiting for the God Hunuman swamy.
The main festivals of the temple are Hanuman jayanthi in the month of Margasira and Narasimha Jayanti in Visakha. Nityapujas like Asthottaram, Panchamrut abhishekham, Akupuja are done everyday. Vibhudi of lord is considered to be very powerful. It protects devotees from evil forces and Doshas
